About this role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) to join our institution. The ideal candidate should possess an excellent academic record, significant teaching and research experience, and a strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development.
The selected candidate will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, industry collaboration, and accreditation initiatives in accordance with AICTE/UGC norms.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Excellence
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering.
- Develop and update course curriculum in line with AICTE, UGC, NEP 2020, and industry requirements.
- Employ innovative teaching methodologies and outcome-based education (OBE) practices.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and evaluation reports.
- Mentor students in academic, research, and career development activities.
Research & Innovation
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed SCI/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. student research projects.
- Secure externally funded research projects from government and industry agencies.
- Promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, patents, copyrights, and technology transfer.
Academic Administration
- Lead curriculum design and revision committees.
- Participate in NBA, NAAC, NIRF, IQAC, and other accreditation and quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate departmental academic planning and institutional initiatives.
- Organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, hackathons, and technical events.
Industry Collaboration
- Build partnerships with industries, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Facilitate internships, consultancy projects, collaborative research, and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Promote entrepreneurship, incubation, and startup ecosystem among students.
